POLICY INFORMATION- Please read
Please note* 48 hours is appreciated when cancelling your appointment. All clients are important to Sonia, the time she takes with each one is designed to ensure they are getting their thorough skin or body treatment(s) needed for optimal results. If you are running late, stuck in traffic etc., please send Sonia a text message so she can alter the service if possible. PLEASE NOTE* Sonia will wait 15 minutes into your scheduled appointment. If you show up later then 15 minutes, your appointment WILL be cancelled. No exceptions as there are other clients scheduled after your appointment slot.

Sonia uses Square Booking System which sends out reminder messages/ emails to your information provided. Should she need to cancel in the event of an emergency you will receive a message from the Booking system and also from Sonia directly. Please do the same through the app or text Sonia with 48 hours notice if you are unable to make your appointment so she may fill your spot with another client patiently waiting for an appointment.

Deposits are required to book any appointment at SCSBS. $25 deposit is required to hold and book your desired appointment slot. All deposits are required by the end of the day or the slot is open for other clients to book. If no deposit is received, you do not have a booked appointment. If you do not show up or cancel under 48hours, your deposit is lost. There are no refunds or transfer on deposits given.
ARRIVING TIME
For new clients, please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment time. Sonia will have you fill out forms and answer any questions you may have. You may park on the driveway or on the road. Please text Sonia upon your arrival at 416-268-5997 and she will open the front door for you. Just keep in mind to wait in you vehicle until you hear from Sonia as she may be setting up for your visit. Sonia takes pride in her services and requires a set amount of time per client. Please be courteous to Sonia and other clients waiting for their treatments.

Starting January 1 2024, any late arrivals past 15 minutes will be cancelled. Sonia cannot perform your full treatment and she cannot move clients around to accommodate tardiness. If a deposit was left, you have lost your deposit and will be required to put another deposit down in order to rebook your appointment.
ILLNESS/ COVID
If you are feeling overall sick or come into contact with a person who has had covid or you tested positive for covid, please inform Sonia right away so she is able to contact other clients that were in her studio. This is a private home studio which ensures everything is clean, sterilized and disinfected before and after each client. If you have any symptoms of an illness, please let Sonia know as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment.

We do not require proof of vaccination; masks are optional for you to wear. Masks and hand sanitizer are at the front entrance for you use at your discretion. Sonia will always have a mask on during the treatment.

LASER HAIR REMOVAL / IPL PHOTO FACIALS
For clients receiving laser therapies, waivers are signed, and a full consultation and patch test is preformed prior to the first initial treatment. Post treatment guidelines are discussed along with expectations regarding results. In the event of a burn, please seek medical attention immediately. Do not pick the scab, should one appear after a burn. Please inform Sonia so all pictures and medical notes can be put into the client file. Treatments are done every 4-6 weeks; sunblock is to be worn everyday and reapplied every 2 hours. Avoid scented soaps and lotions, hot tubs (avoid completely), showers, saunas and jacuzzies, swimming pools, tanning beds and excessive exercise for the first 24 hours.
LINENS
Spa robes and slippers are provided for your comfort. You are welcome to change in the bathroom and leave your clothes on the stool and hooks provided. Personal belonging such as wallets, purses, cell phones may enter the treatment room. Please have your devices on vibrate or silent. This is for your comfort to receive a relaxing and comfortable treatment. All linens are thoroughly washed and disinfected after each use. They are never reused on another client. If an item cannot be cleaned, it will be disposed of.
PAYMENT METHODS ACCEPTED
The studio accepts Cash, Credit, Debit. Taxes are not included in the products and services prices and are calculated upon cashing out. Gratuities are not included in the treatment price; it is completely up to you and not expected. Starting Januray 1 2024, all services and products will be taxed, no exceptions unless stipulated by Sonia.
PERSONAL BELONGINGS
Sonia will ask you to remove any jewellery around the area being worked on. You are welcome to put them in a safe place, or else she will put them on her counter with a jewellery holder for you. Please note* If in the event you forget something, please text Sonia 416-268-5997 immediately and she will put it aside for you. There is about an hour between each client, so cleaning and disinfecting can be done thoroughly, so Sonia can take a look for what you left behind and put it aside for you.
REFUNDS/ RETURNS/ DEPOSITS
All jewelry, crystals and eye pillows are final sale. For all products, should a reaction occur, please email Sonia at s.cona@outlook.com with pictures of your reaction and what happened. She will send you a shipping label or feel free to drop it off to her. Once a refund is accepted, please note for banks to process it, it may take a few days. If 15 days have passed and you still have not received the total amount owning to you, please contact Sonia.
